dave and i went looking at christmas lights since it was an anniversary of ours of sorts. and i was in such awe of just how much work and effort some people put into putting up lights and making their houses festive. my two favorites were the HUGELY GINORMOUS trees that were completely wrapped in twinkle lights (you know the lights that have the "twinkle effect" but not super cracked out blinky or anything like that, just looks like its glistening?) all the way up to the tippy top. i was in awe. and also, the house that had lights around the base of the tree and up the trunk, but had some neat soft lights from the tippy top of the tree so their yard had the shadow of limbs and branches in the grass. oh man, i was in love. makes me wish i had a house with big huge trees i could wrap in twinkle lights. ::sigh:: soooo, todays blog is all about my love for the trees and twinkle lights, which has always been there, but re-inspired me last night.
....and just an FYI, dave and i are headed home for the holidays so i will be MIA from tomorrow through the beginning of next week. so i promise a super awesome blog post when i get back. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! cheers! enjoy...
